In Thursday's non-league game, the host King Philip Regional Warriors baseball team scored a tight 12-5 victory over the Stoughton Black Knights.
The Warriors (1-0) will now prepare for their game against Mansfield (Mansfield, MA). The Hornets go into the non-league game with a 0-3 record. In their last game, Mansfield was overwhelmed by North Attleborough (North Attleborough, MA), 5-4, in a non-league game.
The Black Knights (0-1) will now prepare for their game against Canton (Canton, MA). The Bulldogs go into the Hockomock - Davenport game with a 0-2 record. In their last game, Canton was overwhelmed by Milford (Milford, MA), 5-3, in a league game.
