The Plainfield East Bengals baseball team scored 20 runs and limited the visiting West Aurora Blackhawks to 5 in the Bengals league victory on Thursday.

The Bengals (5-4) will now prepare for their match against Lincoln-Way West (New Lenox, IL). The Warriors go into the non-league match with a 3-0 record. In their last match, Lincoln-Way West gained a win over Sandburg (Orland Park, IL), 5-4, in a non-league match.

The Blackhawks (1-2) will now prepare for their match against Joliet Central (Joliet, IL). The Steelmen go into the Southwest Prairie match with a 4-6 record. In their last match, Joliet Central gained a win over Shepard (Palos Heights, IL), 6-4, in a non-league match.
