In Thursday's non-league test, the visiting Bacon Academy Bobcats lacrosse squad scored a tight 14-11 victory over the Avon Falcons.
The Bobcats now have a 3-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to East Lyme for a non-league test on Monday, April 11. Bacon Academy will face a Vikings squad coming off a 10-5 non-league loss to Cheshire (Cheshire, CT). The Vikings record now stands at 1-1.
In their next game, the Falcons face the Berlin Redcoats (Berlin, CT) in a non-league test, on Friday, April 8. Avon will attempt to move on its 0-2 season record. The Redcoats come into the test with a 0-1 record after their 13-12 non-league loss to Watertown (Watertown, CT).
