Smyrna Eagles (Smyrna, DE) fans were pleased Thursday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Polytech Panthers (Woodside, DE), 9-1 in a league challenge.

Next, the Eagles confront the Caravel Buccaneers (Bear, DE) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, April 12. Smyrna will attempt to better on its 5-1 season record.

The Panthers now have a 2-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Lake Forest for a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 9. Polytech will confront a Spartans team coming off a 1-1 non-league Delmarva Christian (Georgetown, DE). The Spartans record now stands at 0-4.
