The Rancho Buena Vista Longhorns softball team scored 14 runs and limited the visiting Hilltop Lancers to 7 in the Longhorns non-league triumph on Thursday.

With the triumph, Rancho Buena Vista moves its record to 7-6 on the year. The Longhorns host La Costa Canyon (Carlsbad, CA) to play the Mavericks in a game on Wednesday, April 13. The Mavericks come into the game with a record of 4-2. La Costa Canyon won 14-5 in their recent league game against Oceanside (Oceanside, CA)

In their next game, the Lancers play the Sweetwater Red Devils (National City, CA) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, April 12. Hilltop will attempt to move on its 5-10 season record.
