The Mentor Cardinals lacrosse squad (Mentor, OH), was nipped 11-10 in Thursday's non-league challenge with the visiting Avon Eagles (Avon, OH)

Coming up next, the Eagles meet the Wadsworth Grizzlies (Wadsworth, OH) in a Region 2 challenge, on Friday, April 8. Avon will attempt to improve on its 5-1 season record. The Grizzlies enter the challenge with a 4-1 record after their 14-5 non-league win over Roosevelt (Kent, OH).
