The crowd at Thursday's non-league challenge between the J.L. Mann Patriots (Greenville, SC) and the visiting Dutch Fork Silver Foxes (Irmo, SC), saw J.L. Mann's lacrosse team top Dutch Fork by a margin of 17-6.

The Patriots (8-3) will now prepare for their battle against Bishop England (Charleston, SC). The Battling Bishops come into the non-league battle with a 5-8 record. In their last battle, Bishop England was overwhelmed by Lucy Beckham (Mt. Pleasant, SC), 16-5, in a league battle.

In their next game, the Silver Foxes clash with the James F. Byrnes Rebels (Duncan, SC) in a 5A District 2 battle, on Thursday, April 14. Dutch Fork will attempt to advance on its 7-6 season record.
