In Thursday's league battle, the St. Albans Red Dragons (St. Albans, WV) lacrosse squad routed the visiting Mountain State Vikings (Ona, WV), by a count of 13-7.
Coming up next, the Red Dragons clash with the Hedgesville Eagles (Hedgesville, WV) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, April 9. St. Albans will attempt to advance on its 3-0 season record. The Eagles come into the battle with a 4-1 record after their 10-6 non-league win over Mercersburg Academy (Mercersburg, PA).
The Vikings now own a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Harrison County for a WVSLA -DII West battle on Saturday, April 9. Mountain State will clash with a Bruins squad coming off a 13-9 non-league loss to John Marshall (Glen Dale, WV). The Bruins record now stands at 0-1.
