In Thursday's non-league contest, the Teutopolis Wooden Shoes (Teutopolis, IL) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Altamont Indians (Altamont, IL), by a margin of 11-2.
With the triumph, Teutopolis moves its record to 6-2 on the year. The Wooden Shoes host Mt. Zion (Mt. Zion, IL) to play the Braves in a non-league contest on Friday, April 8. The Braves come into the contest with a record of 5-3. Mt. Zion won 8-0 in their recent non-league contest against Monticello (Monticello, IL)
In their next game, the Indians play the Vandalia Vandals (Vandalia, IL) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, April 9. Altamont will attempt to move on its 2-9 season record. The Vandals come into the contest with a 2-5 record after their 22-14 non-league loss to Greenville (Greenville, IL).
