The Baldwin Bulldogs routed the visiting Anderson County Bulldogs softball squad by a count of 14-9 in Thursday's non-league battle.
The Bulldogs (1-1) will now prepare for their battle against Ottawa (Ottawa, KS). The Cyclones go into the Frontier battle with a 3-1 record. In their last battle, Ottawa nudged Bonner Springs (Bonner Springs, KS), 5-4, in a league battle.
The Bulldogs now sport a 0-2 record. They play next when they travel to Wellsville for a Pioneer battle on Tuesday, April 19. Anderson County will meet a Eagles squad coming off a 18-7 non-league win over Louisburg (Louisburg, KS). The Eagles record now stands at 5-1.
