Arizona High School Softball - West Point can't hold off Apollo

The Apollo Hawks softball team scored 6 runs and limited the host West Point Dragons to 5 in the Hawks non-league triumph on Thursday.
With the triumph, Apollo improves its record to 12-7 on the year. The Hawks host Kellis (Glendale, AZ) to clash with the Cougars in a 5A Northwest game on Friday, April 8. The Cougars come into the game with a record of 1-14. Kellis lost 8-0 in their recent non-league game against Millennium (Goodyear, AZ)
In their next game, the Dragons clash with the Washington Rams (Phoenix, AZ) in a 5A Central game, on Friday, April 8. West Point will attempt to improve on its 7-8 season record. The Rams come into the game with a 6-9 record after their 21-7 league win over Independence (Glendale, AZ).
