Auburn Trojans (Auburn, IL) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Pleasant Plains Cardinals (Pleasant Plains, IL), 5-4 in a league challenge.

The Trojans now sport a 3-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to New Berlin/Franklin/Waverly for a Sangamo challenge on Tuesday, April 12.
