The Belvidere North Blue Thunder the host Sycamore Spartans softball squad by a final score of 9-7 in Thursday's non-league battle.
The Blue Thunder (2-2) will now prepare for their battle against Riverdale (Port Byron, IL). The Rams go into the non-league battle with a 6-3 record. In their last battle, Riverdale by Kewanee (Kewanee, IL), 2-1, in a non-league battle.
The Spartans now possess a 1-3 record. They play next when they host Morris for a Interstate Eight battle on Monday, April 11. Sycamore will meet a Redskins squad coming off a 10-0 non-league loss to Yorkville (Yorkville, IL). The Redskins record now stands at 10-4.
