The crowd at Thursday's non-league match between the Biggs Wolverines (Biggs, CA) and the host Los Molinos Bulldogs (Los Molinos, CA), saw Biggs's softball squad nip Los Molinos by a count of 8-2.

The Wolverines now sport a 14-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Williams for a Mountain Valley match on Tuesday, April 12. Biggs will face a Yellowjackets squad coming off a 24-3 league loss to Portola (Portola, CA). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 1-11.

With the loss, Los Molinos falls to 10-6 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Chester (Chester, CA) to face the Volcanoes in a Five Star match on Friday, April 8. The Volcanoes enter the match with a record of 0-6. Chester lost 24-14 in their recent league match against CORE Butte (Chico, CA)
