Seton Catholic Sentinels (Chandler, AZ) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Coronado Dons (Scottsdale, AZ), 16-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Sentinels now own a 11-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Marcos de Niza for a 4A Desert Sky challenge on Friday, April 8. Seton Catholic will battle a Padres squad coming off a 11-1 league loss to Seton Catholic (Chandler, AZ). The Padres record now stands at 2-10.

With the loss, Coronado falls to 0-10 on the campaign. The Dons host Poston Butte (San Tan Valley, AZ) to battle the Broncos in a 4A Black Canyon challenge on Friday, April 8. The Broncos enter the challenge with a record of 17-4. Poston Butte won 7-6 in their recent league challenge against Combs (San Tan Valley, AZ)
