The East Lyme Vikings softball team scored 19 runs and limited the host Lyman Memorial Bulldogs to 3 in the Vikings non-league triumph on Thursday.
With the triumph, East Lyme moves its record to 3-0 on the year. The Vikings travel to Fitch (Groton, CT) to play the Falcons in a Eastern Connecticut - Large game on Thursday, April 14. The Falcons come into the game with a record of 1-0.
In their next game, the Bulldogs play the New London Whalers (New London, CT) in a non-league game, on Saturday, April 9. Lyman Memorial will attempt to move on its 2-1 season record. The Whalers come into the game with a 0-2 record after their 19-8 non-league loss to Bacon Academy (Colchester, CT).
