California High School Softball - Sierra Vista edged by El Monte

The Sierra Vista Dons softball team (Baldwin Park, CA), was tipped 5-4 in Thursday's non-league test with the host El Monte Lions (El Monte, CA)

Coming up next, the Lions encounter the Marshall Eagles (Pasadena, CA) in a Mission Valley test, on Friday, April 8. El Monte will attempt to improve on its 7-7 season record. The Eagles enter the test with a 0-13 record after their 16-0 league loss to Gabrielino (San Gabriel, CA).

The Dons (10-11) will now prepare for their test against Gladstone (Covina, CA). The Gladiators enter the Montview test with a 1-7 record. In their last test, Gladstone was tipped by Workman (City of Industry, CA), 23-9, in a league test.
