Olive Branch Conquistadors (Olive Branch, MS) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Grenada Chargers (Grenada, MS), 16-4 in a non-league challenge.

The Conquistadors now own a 5-7 record. They take the field next when they host Lewisburg for a 6A Region 1 challenge on Friday, April 8. Olive Branch will battle a Patriots squad coming off a 9-6 league loss to DeSoto Central (Southaven, MS). The Patriots record now stands at 14-5.

With the loss, Grenada falls to 3-13 on the campaign. The Chargers travel to Tupelo (Tupelo, MS) to battle the Golden Wave in a 6A Region 1 challenge on Monday, April 11. The Golden Wave enter the challenge with a record of 2-17.
