Milan Big Reds (Milan, MI) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Lincoln Railsplitters (Ypsilanti, MI), 13-7 in a league challenge.

The Big Reds now sport a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to St. Mary Catholic Central for a Huron challenge on Tuesday, April 12.

With the loss, Lincoln falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Railsplitters travel to Monroe (Monroe, MI) to face the Trojans in a Southeastern - Red challenge on Monday, April 11. The Trojans enter the challenge with a record of 0-0.
