Florida High School Softball - Monarch bounces South Dade

The Monarch Knights routed the visiting South Dade Buccaneers softball squad by a count of 10-3 in Thursday's non-league battle.

The Knights (8-7) will now prepare for their battle against Coral Glades (Coral Springs, FL). The Jaguars go into the non-league battle with a 4-6 record. In their last battle, Coral Glades was routed by Pompano Beach (Pompano Beach, FL), 10-4, in a non-league battle.

The Buccaneers now sport a 6-7 record. They play next when they travel to Florida Christian for a non-league battle on Thursday, April 7. South Dade will meet a Patriots squad coming off a 4-1 non-league win over Calvary Christian Academy (Fort Lauderdale, FL). The Patriots record now stands at 7-4.
