Alabama High School Softball - Murphy bounces Rain

The Murphy Panthers (Mobile, AL) softball routed the host Rain Red Raiders (Mobile, AL), 22-5 in Thursday's non-league bout.
The Panthers (6-4) will now prepare for their bout against Bryant (Irvington, AL). The Hurricanes go into the non-league bout with a 20-5 record. In their last bout, Bryant was routed by Theodore (Theodore, AL), 14-5, in a league bout.
The Red Raiders now possess a 2-6 record. They play next when they travel to LeFlore for a 5A Area 1 bout on Tuesday, April 12. Rain will confront a Rattlers squad coming off a 28-3 non-league win over Blount (Eight Mile, AL). The Rattlers record now stands at 3-3.
