The Sanderson Spartans (Raleigh, NC) baseball the host East Wake Warriors (Wendell, NC), 7-5 in Friday's non-league outing.
The Spartans now hold a 3-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Broughton for a Cap Six 4A outing on Wednesday, April 12. Sanderson will confront a Capitals team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Millbrook (Raleigh, NC). The Capitals record now stands at 7-6.
Next, the Warriors confront the Smithfield-Selma Spartans (Smithfield, NC) in a Quad County 3A outing, on Tuesday, April 11. East Wake will attempt to advance on its 5-9 season record. The Spartans go into the outing with a 2-10 record after their 14-4 non-league loss to Freedom Christian Academy (Fayetteville, NC).
