In Friday's non-league game, the host Halifax County Comets baseball team scored a nice 11-0 victory over the United Golden Eagles.
The Comets (8-0) will now prepare for their game against Van Buren (Van Buren, OH). The Black Knights go into the non-league game with a 1-1 record. In their last game, Van Buren ran past Fostoria (Fostoria, OH), 6-3, in a non-league game.
The Golden Eagles (1-2) will now prepare for their game against East Canton (East Canton, OH). The Hornets go into the non-league game with a 1-3 record. In their last game, East Canton ran past Newcomerstown (Newcomerstown, OH), 8-5, in a league game.
