The Waterford Lancers crushed the host Killingly Redmen baseball team by a tally of 8-2 in Friday's non-league bout.
The Lancers now hold a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Ledyard for a non-league bout on Tuesday, April 11. Waterford will face a Colonels team coming off a 15-4 league loss to Montville (Oakdale, CT). The Colonels record now stands at 0-4.
Next, the Redmen face the New London Whalers (New London, CT) in a non-league bout, on Monday, April 10. Killingly will attempt to advance on its 1-3 season record. The Whalers enter the bout with a 0-2 record after their 7-6 non-league loss to Norwich RVT (Norwich, CT).
