Ohio High School Baseball - McClain gets by Vinton County

Spectators at Friday's non-league battle between the McClain Tigers (Greenfield, OH) and the host Vinton County Vikings (McArthur, OH), saw McClain's baseball squad knock off Vinton County by a count of 11-9.

Coming up next, the Tigers play the Fairfield Lions (Leesburg, OH) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, April 8. McClain will attempt to move on its 5-1 season record. The Lions enter the battle with a 4-1 record after their 4-1 league win over Lynchburg-Clay (Lynchburg, OH).

The Vikings now possess a 1-5 record. They take the field next when they host Waverly for a non-league battle on Saturday, April 8. Vinton County will play a Tigers squad coming off a 7-1 non-league loss to Miami Trace (Washington Courthouse, OH). The Tigers record now stands at 1-2.
