The ROWVA/Williamsfield Cougars nudged the visiting Midwest Central Raiders baseball team by a tally of 1-0 in Friday's non-league bout.

The Cougars now hold a 4-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Galva for a Lincoln Trail bout on Saturday, April 8. ROWVA/Williamsfield will face a Wildcats team coming off a 18-9 non-league loss to Non Varsity Opponent (, ). The Wildcats record now stands at 0-2.

Next, the Raiders face the PORTA/Ashland-Chandlerville Central Bluejays (Petersburg, IL) in a non-league bout, on Monday, April 10. Midwest Central will attempt to advance on its 1-5 season record.
