Florida High School Softball - Seminole nudges Apopka

April 7, 2023: Apopka, FL 32712

Seminole Seminoles (Sanford, FL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they witnessed their softball squad tip the host Apopka Blue Darters (Apopka, FL), 8-7 in a non-league match.

The Seminoles now sport a 7-10 record. They play next when they travel to Geneva for a non-league match on Tuesday, April 11. Seminole will face a Knights squad coming off a 19-0 league win over Master's Academy (Oviedo, FL). The Knights record now stands at 10-2.

With the loss, Apopka moves to 8-8 on the season. The Blue darters host Ocoee (Ocoee, FL) to face the Knights in a 7A District 3 match on Monday, April 10. The Knights go into the match with a record of 9-8. Ocoee won 7-0 in their recent non-league match against Olympia (Orlando, FL)
