In Friday's non-league contest, the Aurora Greenmen (Aurora, OH) softball team held off the host Hoover Vikings (North Canton, OH), by a margin of 3-2.
With the triumph, Aurora moves its record to 5-3 on the year. The Greenmen host Barberton (Barberton, OH) to play the Magics in a Suburban - American contest on Monday, April 10. The Magics come into the contest with a record of 2-2.
In their next game, the Vikings play the Marlington Dukes (Alliance, OH) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, April 8. Hoover will attempt to move on its 1-2 season record. The Dukes come into the contest with a 8-0 record after their 15-0 non-league win over Elliott County (Sandy Hook, KY).
