Bellevue Redmen (Bellevue, OH) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Huron Tigers (Huron, OH), 2-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Redmen now own a 3-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Van Buren for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 11. Bellevue will face a Black Knights squad coming off a 10-1 league win over McComb (McComb, OH). The Black Knights record now stands at 1-0.

With the loss, Huron falls to 7-1 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to St. Joseph Academy (Cleveland, OH) to face the Jaguars in a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 8. The Jaguars enter the challenge with a record of 0-5. St. Joseph Academy lost 4-2 in their recent non-league challenge against Waynedale (Apple Creek, OH)
