In Friday's non-league contest, the New Richmond Lions (New Richmond, OH) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Boone County Rebels (Florence, KY), by a margin of 12-1.

With the triumph, New Richmond moves its record to 7-0 on the year. The Lions travel to Clinton-Massie (Clarksville, OH) to play the Falcons in a Southern Buckeye AA - American contest on Saturday, April 8. The Falcons come into the contest with a record of 1-2. Clinton-Massie won 4-3 in their recent non-league contest against Williamsburg (Williamsburg, OH)

In their next game, the Rebels play the Cooper Jaguars (Union, KY) in a District 33 contest, on Tuesday, April 11. Boone County will attempt to move on its 0-4 season record. The Jaguars come into the contest with a 5-2 record after their 13-11 non-league win over Daviess County (Owensboro, KY).
