In Friday's non-league outing, the host Brea Olinda Wildcats softball team scored a close 7-6 win over the El Modena Vanguards.
Coming up next, the Wildcats encounter the Foothill Knights (Santa Ana, CA) in a North Hills outing, on Monday, April 10. Brea Olinda will attempt to improve on its 7-9 season record. The Knights enter the outing with a 13-4 record after their 1-0 non-league win over Sunny Hills (Fullerton, CA).
The Vanguards (11-8) will now prepare for their outing against Esperanza (Anaheim, CA). The Aztecs enter the Crestview outing with a 15-4 record. In their last outing, Esperanza was tipped by Norco (Norco, CA), 5-3, in a non-league outing.
