In Friday's non-league outing, the visiting John Marshall Monarchs softball team scored a nice 14-4 win over the Columbiana Clippers.

Coming up next, the Monarchs encounter the Parkersburg South Patriots (Parkersburg, WV) in a non-league outing, on Monday, April 10. John Marshall will attempt to upgrade on its 5-1 season record. The Patriots enter the outing with a 7-4 record after their 8-1 non-league win over Hurricane (Hurricane, WV).

The Clippers (6-1) will now prepare for their outing against Weir (Weirton, WV). The Red Riders enter the non-league outing with a 8-3 record. In their last outing, Weir ran past Brooke (Wellsburg, WV), 14-3, in a non-league outing.
