The Ider Hornets softball team scored 5 runs and limited the host Etowah Blue Devils to 4 in the Hornets non-league triumph on Friday.
With the triumph, Ider improves its record to 4-6 on the year. The Hornets host Buckhorn (New Market, AL) to clash with the Bucks in a non-league game on Friday, April 7. The Bucks come into the game with a record of 15-6. Buckhorn won 3-1 in their recent league game against North Jackson (Stevenson, AL)
In their next game, the Blue Devils clash with the St. Clair County Fighting Saints (Odenville, AL) in a non-league game, on Friday, April 7. Etowah will attempt to improve on its 15-10 season record. The Fighting Saints come into the game with a 2-9 record after their 12-2 league loss to Moody (Moody, AL).
