Mount Miguel Matadors (Spring Valley, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Kearny Komets (San Diego, CA), 13-3 in a non-league challenge.
The Matadors now own a 2-4 record. They take the field next when they host Coastal Academy for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, April 12. Mount Miguel will face a Stingrays squad coming off a 7-3 league win over Francis Parker (San Diego, CA). The Stingrays record now stands at 4-5.
With the loss, Kearny falls to 3-7 on the campaign. The Komets travel to Crawford (San Diego, CA) to face the Colts in a City Central challenge on Wednesday, April 12. The Colts enter the challenge with a record of 0-3.
