The Maroa-Forsyth Trojans the visiting Tri-City Tornadoes softball squad by a final score of 2-0 in Friday's non-league battle.
The Trojans (7-2) will now prepare for their battle against Fisher (Fisher, IL). The Bunnies go into the non-league battle with a 10-1 record. In their last battle, Fisher nudged El Paso-Gridley (El Paso, IL), 11-1, in a league battle.
The Tornadoes now possess a 3-1 record. They play next when they host Pana for a non-league battle on Saturday, April 8. Tri-City will meet a Panthers squad coming off a 5-2 league loss to Carlinville (Carlinville, IL). The Panthers record now stands at 2-4.
