Richland Bombers (Richland, WA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Othello Huskies (Othello, WA), 9-3 in a non-league challenge.

The Bombers now sport a 7-0 record. They take the field next when they host Walla Walla for a 3A/4A Mid-Columbia challenge on Tuesday, April 11. Richland will face a Blue Devils squad coming off a 22-12 league win over Hermiston (Hermiston, WA). The Blue Devils record now stands at 1-6.

With the loss, Othello falls to 5-3 on the campaign. The Huskies travel to Hanford (Richland, WA) to face the Falcons in a non-league challenge on Friday, April 7. The Falcons enter the challenge with a record of 5-4. Hanford won 13-6 in their recent league challenge against Chiawana (Pasco, WA)
