The Paint Valley Bearcats softball team scored 13 runs and limited the visiting Ripley-Union-Lewis-Huntington Blue Jays to 10 in the Bearcats non-league triumph on Friday.
With the triumph, Paint Valley moves its record to 3-3 on the year. The Bearcats travel to Westfall (Williamsport, OH) to play the Mustangs in a Scioto Valley game on Monday, April 10. The Mustangs come into the game with a record of 1-2. Westfall lost 2-1 in their recent non-league game against John Glenn (New Concord, OH)
In their next game, the Blue Jays play the Manchester Greyhounds (Manchester, OH) in a Southern Hills Athletic game, on Saturday, April 8. Ripley-Union-Lewis-Huntington will attempt to move on its 0-6 season record.
