Ohio High School Softball - Poland Seminary gets by Sharpsville

April 7, 2023: Poland, OH 44514

The Poland Seminary Bulldogs (Poland, OH) softball nipped the visiting Sharpsville Blue Devils (Sharpsville, PA), 8-7 in Friday's non-league bout.

The Bulldogs (5-0) will now prepare for their bout against Boardman (Youngstown, OH). The Spartans go into the non-league bout with a 2-4 record. In their last bout, Boardman was edged by Brecksville-Broadview Heights (Broadview Heights, OH), 5-2, in a non-league bout.

The Blue Devils now possess a 3-2 record. They play next when they host Franklin for a non-league bout on Saturday, April 8. Sharpsville will confront a Knights squad coming off a 16-1 league win over Slippery Rock (Slippery Rock, PA). The Knights record now stands at 4-0.
