The Wausau East Lumberjacks routed the visiting Weyauwega-Fremont Warhawks softball squad by a final score of 15-5 in Friday's non-league battle.
The Lumberjacks (1-1) will now prepare for their battle against Wittenberg-Birnamwood (Wittenberg, WI). The Chargers go into the non-league battle with a 3-1 record. In their last battle, Wittenberg-Birnamwood was routed by Antigo (Antigo, WI), 4-0, in a non-league battle.
The Warhawks now possess a 1-2 record. They play next when they travel to Rhinelander for a non-league battle on Friday, April 7. Weyauwega-Fremont will confront a Hodags squad coming off a 9-4 league win over Northland Pines (Eagle River, WI). The Hodags record now stands at 3-3.
