The David Crockett Pioneers softball team (Jonesborough, TN), was routed 6-2 in Sunday's non-league test with the visiting Alcoa Tornadoes (Alcoa, TN)

Coming up next, the Tornadoes encounter the Gatlinburg-Pittman Highlanders (Gatlinburg, TN) in a 2A District 2 test, on Monday, April 8. Alcoa will attempt to improve on its 15-3 season record. The Highlanders come into the test with a 6-4 record after their 18-0 league win over Pigeon Forge (Pigeon Forge, TN).

The Pioneers (14-7) will now prepare for their test against Unicoi County (Erwin, TN). The Blue Devils come into the 3A District 1 test with a 2-7 record. In their last test, Unicoi County was routed by Richlands (Richlands, VA), 3-0, in a non-league test.
