The Brearley Bears (Kenilworth, NJ) softball the host Bernards Mountaineers (Bernardsville, NJ), 7-3 in Sunday's non-league bout.
The Bears (1-2) will now prepare for their bout against Union Catholic (Scotch Plains, NJ). The Vikings go into the UCC - Mountain bout with a 1-2 record. In their last bout, Union Catholic held off Linden (Linden, NJ), 15-1, in a non-league bout.
The Mountaineers now possess a 1-2 record. They play next when they travel to The Pingry School for a Skyland - Raritan bout on Tuesday, April 9. Bernards will confront a Big Blue squad coming off a 7-6 league win over Ridge (Basking Ridge, NJ). The Big Blue record now stands at 2-1.
