The St. James Academy Thunder (Lenexa, KS) baseball trounced the host Bishop Ward Cyclones (Kansas City, KS), 17-0 in Monday's non-league challenge.

The Thunder now own a 5-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Saint Thomas Aquinas for a Eastern Kansas challenge on Tuesday, April 8. St. James Academy will clash with a Saints team coming off a 7-2 non-league win over Shawnee Mission East (Shawnee Mission, KS). The Saints record now stands at 4-0.

With the defeat, Bishop Ward drops to 5-2 on the year. The Cyclones host Kansas City Christian School (Prairie Village, KS) to clash with the Panthers in a non-league challenge on Thursday, April 10. The Panthers go into the challenge with a record of 1-1. Kansas City Christian School won 16-15 in their recent league challenge against Maranatha Christian Academy (Shawnee, KS)
