The Clinton Comets baseball team scored 9 runs and held the host Dolgeville Blue Devils to 3 in the Comets league win on Monday.

The Comets now own a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host Little Falls for a Section 3 Center State I test on Wednesday, April 9. Clinton will play a Mounties team coming off a 10-0 league win over Westmoreland (Westmoreland, NY). The Mounties record now stands at 2-0.

With the defeat, Dolgeville drops to 0-2 on the year. The Blue devils host Canastota (Canastota, NY) to play the Red Raiders in a Section 3 Center State I test on Wednesday, April 9.
