In Monday's non-league game, the host Sterling Tigers baseball team scored a close 5-0 win over the Fletcher Wildcats.
The Tigers (4-4) will now prepare for their game against Lone Grove (Lone Grove, OK). The Longhorns go into the non-league game with a 20-3 record. In their last game, Lone Grove nudged Lexington (Lexington, OK), 20-1, in a league game.
Next, the Wildcats play the Cyril Pirates (Cyril, OK) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, April 8. Fletcher will attempt to improve on its 12-11 season record. The Pirates go into the game with a 3-7 record after their 13-0 non-league loss to Granite (Granite, OK).
