In Monday's non-league game, the host Lutcher Bulldogs baseball team scored a close 4-1 win over the Holden Rockets.
The Bulldogs (20-9) will now prepare for their game against South Lafourche (Galliano, LA). The Tarpons go into the 4A District 8 game with a 19-9 record. In their last game, South Lafourche by Destrehan (Destrehan, LA), 9-4, in a non-league game.
Next, the Rockets play the Northlake Christian Wolverines (Covington, LA) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, April 8. Holden will attempt to improve on its 17-10 season record. The Wolverines go into the game with a 12-14 record after their 8-3 league loss to St. Thomas Aquinas (Hammond, LA).
