The Hozho Academy Wolves (Gallup, NM) baseball trounced the host Tohatchi Cougars (Tohatchi, NM), 15-1 in Monday's non-league challenge.
The Wolves now own a 7-4 record. They take the field next when they host Zuni for a non-league challenge on Thursday, April 10. Hozho Academy will clash with a Thunderbirds team coming off a 10-1 league loss to Tohatchi (Tohatchi, NM). The Thunderbirds record now stands at 7-8.
With the defeat, Tohatchi drops to 9-3 on the year. The Cougars travel to Zuni (Zuni, NM) to clash with the Thunderbirds in a 3A District 1 challenge on Tuesday, April 8. The Thunderbirds go into the challenge with a record of 6-7. Zuni won 5-1 in their recent league challenge against Wingate (Fort Wingate, NM)
