In Monday's non-league game, the host Warrensburg Tigers baseball team scored a close 2-1 win over the Nevada Tigers.
The Tigers (6-5) will now prepare for their game against Belton (Belton, MO). The Pirates go into the Class 5 District 7 game with a 2-4 record. In their last battle, Belton held off Truman (Independence, MO), 7-6, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Tigers face the Seneca Indians (Seneca, MO) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, April 8. Nevada will attempt to upgrade on its 4-3 season record.
