In Monday's non-league game, the host Russellville Indians baseball team scored a nice 14-4 win over the Osage Indians.
The Indians (6-3) will now prepare for their game against Eugene (Eugene, MO). The Eagles go into the Class 2 District 8 game with a 2-6 record. In their last game, Eugene knocked off Sacred Heart (Sedalia, MO), 8-4, in a non-league game.
Next, the Indians play the Boonville Pirates (Boonville, MO) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, April 8. Osage will attempt to improve on its 2-5 season record. The Pirates go into the game with a 6-3 record after their 1-0 league win over Moberly (Moberly, MO).
