Manatee Hurricanes (Bradenton, FL) fans went home in high spirits Monday as they saw their flag football team achieve victory over the visiting Booker Tornadoes (Sarasota, FL), 26-6 in a non-league battle.

With the win, Manatee improves its record to 10-2 on the season. The Hurricanes travel to Southeast (Bradenton, FL) to play the Seminoles in a non-league battle on Tuesday, April 8. The Seminoles go into the battle with a record of 5-7. Southeast lost 12-6 in their recent non-league battle against Braden River (Bradenton, FL)

The Tornadoes now have a 1-2 record. They play next when they host Tampa Catholic for a non-league battle on Tuesday, April 8. Booker will play a Crusaders team coming off a 25-6 non-league win over Keswick Christian (St. Petersburg, FL). The Crusaders record now stands at 9-5.
