The Staunton Bulldogs soccer squad scored 7 points and held the host Metro-East Lutheran Knights to 0 in the Bulldogs non-league victory on Monday.

The Bulldogs now possess a 6-0 record. They play next when they travel to Greenville for a South Central bout on Tuesday, April 8. Staunton will play a Comets squad coming off a 9-1 non-league win over North Mac (Virden, IL). The Comets record now stands at 6-2.

With the loss, Metro-East Lutheran moves to 1-7 on the year. The Knights host Maryville Christian (Maryville, IL) to play the Lions in a Gateway Metro bout on Tuesday, April 8. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 3-4. Maryville Christian lost 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against Litchfield (Litchfield, IL)
